Tim Valiante is a child of God, husband, father, author, and Director of Haven of Grace Seminary (Philippines).
Tim began his relationship with God in 1995 at the age of 15. With a desire to deepen his knowledge of God, and a passion to serve God, he sensed the Lord’s leading into ministry. After serving fourteen years as an assistant pastor, and then as a lead pastor in churches located in Delaware and Pennsylvania, Tim accepted the call to become the director of Haven of Grace Seminary (Philippines) in August 2017. He teaches courses on Hermeneutics, Greek Grammar and Systematic Theology. Tim holds a bachelor’s degree in pastoral studies and Bible, a master’s degree in theological studies, and a doctor of ministry degree from Clarks Summit University. He is married to the love of his life, Sarah, and they have five children ranging in age from 13 to 2.
Tim is the author of God Gives More Grace: Walking with God Through Life’s Trials (published by Regular Baptist Press – click here to purchase), and a contributing author for Missions: God’s Glory on Display from Genesis to Revelation (published by Glow Publications – click here to purchase).
Tim is a new author with a unique approach to explaining biblical texts. His work focuses on the intensive analysis of biblical truth within specific paragraphs of Scripture which then serves as a framework for a book or series. In this “expanded study,” as he calls it, the Scripture is afforded the opportunity to speak for itself with practical applications arising from the text. This method can be applied to countless other passages within Scripture, and looking ahead, Tim hopes to write future books such as: Gospel Impact (1 Thessalonians 1:1-10), Awake and Arise (Ephesians 5:14) Partnership in the Gospel (Philippians), Autopsy of a Dead Church (Revelation 2:1-7, 3:1-6), Fleeting Days (Psalm 39, 90), Forgetting God (Deuteronomy 6:1-25), and others.
